The Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall

The glamorous Spa Hotel at Ribby Hall in Lancashire was awarded Best Day Spa. The thermal space is stunning: a vast glass structure overlooking a decked spa garden with outdoor hot tub and sauna. At the centre is a large bubbling hydrotherapy pool surrounded by loungers and seven heat experiences, including herbal sauna, aroma steam room, tepidarium, sanarium and Balinese salt inhalation room. The spa menu includes treatments from Elemis, Neom and ishga, as well as exclusive signature rituals.

Champneys Henlow

Champneys Henlow is set within a Georgian manor in Bedfordshire. The spa is surrounded by 150 acres of stunning parkland next to a flowing river, running weir and romantic gardens – keep an eye out for deer, ducks and ducklings. Highlights include a huge range of fitness and wellness classes, the restaurant with its nutritious buffet and comfy outdoor terrace, a bright 25-metre main pool area, and delightful garden conservatory with board games and books.

The Woodland Spa
