Popping along to a spa once in a blue moon isn't going to change your life. In order to feel (and look) your best, you need to make the right lifestyle choices as well as getting some much-needed pampering, as often as possible. After all, it's always nice to have a bit of a lie-down.
We've already talked about how wellness apps can help you stay healthy and well whilst you're on the move. But, if you need a little more support, a new wave of one-on-one personal coaching is set to change the way you think, act, eat and live forever!
"Mobile" life coaching looks like it'll be big business in 2012.
Life coaching is no new phenomenon; many spas offer this service as one of their complementary or holistic therapies. However, what's set to be different is how your support is administered. You'll most likely still have an initial face-to-face consultation for around an hour or two, to set goals and get to know each other.
Following this initial meeting, your life coach will provide support via text messages, phone calls, emails and Skype conversations. Even if you're a jet-setter you can rest assured that your support is simply a phone call, internet connection or text message away.
What this provides is a more realistic service that can be tailored to your specific needs. If you feel demotivated in the afternoon, your coach can text you after lunch with a quick pep-talk. If you've had a bad day or need to build your confidence for tomorrow's big meeting, an evening Skype conversation could do you the world of good.
