Thainstone House hotel is an 18th-century grand family mansion in rural Aberdeenshire that has been transformed into a country house hotel.
The Spa at Thainstone House is home to a 13-metre indoor pool; swim laps before heading out to the private deck where you can sink into the hot tub or get toasty in the barrel sauna.
Organic seaweed-inspired brand Ishga take care of the treatments.
The Green Lady offers AA Rosette dining in an intimate restaurant with high-ceilings, grand chandeliers and windows that frame the woodland. The menu showcases the best of local seasonal produce from Aberdeen Angus to market fish of the day from nearby fishing ports.
The Stockman’s Bar offers a laid-back alternative, serving up hearty traditional flavours alongside a selection of local ales and Scotch Whiskies.
