The Spa at Balmoral Arms features two cosy spa treatment rooms where a choice of face and body treatments await, using Scottish seaweed-based skincare brand ishga.
The tranquil space offers a hideaway in the heart of the Scottish Highlands; experience bespoke massage treatments, couples massage and hand and foot recovery, ideal after a day of exploring the beautiful Royal Deeside area and the River Dee, just a few minutes’ walk from the Inn.

Guests are welcome to dine in The Ghillies Bar for casual hearty lunches and suppers and enjoy refreshments from the entirely Scottish Bar, with local gins and whiskies to choose from.
The lounge offers a comforting space for guests to indulge in Afternoon Tea, while the 1852 Scottish Brasserie & Grill is the perfect setting to sample the best of Aberdeenshire larder, including game from the Royal Estate at Balmoral, fresh Scottish Salmon and Saddle of Venison.
While our highland hospitality is aimed towards ensuring guests feel at home whilst receiving the most authentic highland experience, robes are not permitted in public areas
Balmoral Arms offers a range of room sizes, from budget Cosy Doubles suitable for those who wish to spend more time outdoors, ranging to luxury Feature Rooms and Suites.
Each room features contemporary interiors that hint at the Victorian heritage in some rooms, with Highland hues in others.
Family dogs are also made to feel welcome.

There are good train connections to Aberdeen and a direct bus to Ballater from Aberdeen. The bus stop is located 1 minutes’ walk from the inn.
The inn is only a few minutes’ walk from Deeside Way Cycle Path.
