Natural Health Spa at Budock Vean

Set within the 4* Budock Vean Hotel and it’s 65 acres of peaceful gardens and woodlands leading down to the tranquil Helford River in south Cornwall, is the Natural Health Spa. This is a spa where the customer experience is first and foremost, and whose ‘Healing with Seasons’ spa days have been a huge hit with hotel guests and locals alike. Spa Manager Martina Crkonova’s background in traditional Chinese medicine led her to create an innovative menu of seasonal treatments that aims to give the body what it needs for each of the four seasons. Their new partnership with Elemental Herbology builds on that background with a range of holistic, massage, body wrap and facials that tie in with the 5 Element teachings. For a sense of well-being spa day guests are encouraged to explore the hotel grounds, or book on to a sightseeing boat tour or kayak adventure from the hotel's private foreshore. All finished off with an indulgent cream tea!

"Been back annually for 20 years. Love the setting, staff & atmosphere. Occasional small hen party spas - but hey! Welcome locals & day guests. Calm, quiet peace - what more could one want. Good luck in the Best Spa competition. x"

"What a fabulous day . The staff were fantastic and the food was gorgeous. We booked for a family spa day, my therapist was Poppy she was amazing and I walked out of my treatment feeling like I’d had the best sleep of my life , I felt so relaxed and my skin felt incredible. Special thanks to James who looked after us his customer service was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble . The crab sandwiches were some of the best I’ve ever tasted , the mocktails were yummy. I would highly recommend the Spa , hotel and it’s wonderful staff . I didn’t want to leave . Great value for money too."

"Long overdue but I wanted to say the biggest thanks to Zoe at the spa for the most marvellous treatment. Such an amazing experience! The whole thing was infact, the overnight stay and meal was the biggest treat, my personal highlight was the breakfast bar in the morning, heaven! Followed by a day of relaxation and pampering at the spa. An absolute highlight of my year so far! "
