No -- we haven't gone all James Bond on you. These curious tools for "cell rejuvenation" were on show at CamExpo this year.

These aren't the hot scary lasers Goldfinger used to try to elicit information from 007. Quantum Wave Lasers use "cold laser technology". It is said that they can speed up your body's healing processes by "clearing cell memory". Quite a claim.

Apparently, all living things are made up of light energy, and these cold lasers work in a similar way to sunlight -- donating photons (energy) and therefore assisting with tissue and cell regeneration.

According to Quantum Wave Laser aficionados, the treatment can help with: pain relief, weight loss, smoking cessation, lymph activation, chakra balancing, healing wounds, chronic pain, and skin conditions. It's even claimed that the cold laser technology can be used on animals -- from hamsters to race horses!

We have to withhold judgement as we haven't had a go yet, but the crowd at CamExpo 2010 certainly seemed keen. However, it's your opinion that really counts.

Instant results; jasmine and frangipani scents; hot steam rooms; a good selection of magazines; modernist decor.

Whale noises (on CD, not in the pool hopefully); hard massage beds; tiny toilet cubicles; being spoken to like a child; lukewarm pools.
