If only I'd found out about these babies over the cold, winter months - pedicure socks. One of the curses of being a spa reviewer is having a pedicure at some treatment rooms in, say, January, and then having to peg it immediately afterwards to catch a train home or whizz off to the next spa appointment.
You do tend to find yourself walking around, say, Hastings, in sub-zero temperatures, hoping that your varnish will set before you get frostbite and all the therapist's hard work is in vain because your toes have dropped off.
These pedicure socks separate your toes, and you can even wear flip flops with them. You still have to remember to put them on before your pedicure though...

Luxurious scented candles; hot massage oil; being warm; unusual treatments; fluffy towels; natural light; firm pressure.
Mould; slamming doors; being walked in on while treatment in progress; therapists with cigarette-laced breath.
