Wynyard Hall

Wynyard Hall is a rather grand affair, set in 150 acres of landscaped grounds on the outskirts of Durham in the Tees Valley. The award-winning spa is in a separate building, a converted boathouse on the shores of the lake, a short walk from the 4-star hotel.

The Lakeside Spa is a tranquil hideaway with an air of exclusivity - as only 10 guests are admitted per session. Unwind in the thermal suite including an herbal sauna, salt inhalation room and an ice fountain – for the brave.

The Spa has an extensive ESPA treatment range – While the beauty salon offers Natura Bisse treatments and a-list-loved, CACI non-surgical solutions.

Post pamper, step outside to the spa terrace which has two bubbly hot tubs overlooking the serene lake. For a special treat book into one of the four cottages in the grounds with private hot tubs. If you’ve worked up an appetite, the two AA Rosette restaurant serves afternoon tea carefully crafted by their patisserie chef, glass of champagne - optional.
