Brimstone Spa

The Langdale Estate is home to the Langdale Hotel & Brimstone Hotel both of which are a very short distance apart within our 35 acre estate located in the heart of the Lake District National Park which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Langdale Hotel is a 4-star 52 bedroom hotel and the Brimstone Hotel is our boutique hotel featuring a collection of sixteen luxury suites. The rooms in each hotel are a haven of tranquillity with unmatched service in relaxed yet opulent surroundings.

Within the estate is Brimstone Spa where you can relax and indulge in the sensory experiences, treatments and chill out spaces. Pure Alchemy treatments are unique to Brimstone Spa and use products which are made locally using natural and organic ingredients, all Palm Oil free.

Natural materials are combined with modern design in Brimstone spa, which makes the most of its idyllic Lake District surrounds. Think burnished grey metallic tiles juxtaposed with reclaimed bricks and glimmering mosaics. Long windows in the al fresco sauna bring the woodland in, while the indoor/outdoor infinity pool with hydro jet beds is a great spot to relax in overlooking the treetops next to the outdoor wood burning stove.

The Langdale Hotel is complimented by extensive leisure facilities which are included in the all of the spa break packages and there is a choice of two options for eating, drinking and relaxing: Stove Restaurant and Bar and the Wainwrights' Inn, both of which feature local produce.

The Brimstone Spa is only open to residents.
