Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Borrowdale valley for over 200 years, this rejuvenated hotel and spa has stunning lake views, award winning dining and calming lounges.
The spectacular new Falls Spa opened in November 2018 and is luxuriously designed for ultimate relaxation, with 18 new luxury spa bedrooms, 5 treatment rooms, a 4 person rasula, brand new pan-Asian restaurant Mizu, a champagne bar and a thermal suite comprising of a laconium, aroma steam room, herbal sauna, salt steam room, ice fountain, drench showers and heated relaxation loungers.
Outside the Spa is a 16 metre infity edge vitality pool with neck jets, underwater loungers and an amazing overflow hot tub feature with spectacular views to Derwentwater and the Catbells Mountain Range - possibly the best selfie location in the Lake District! To complete the outside experience, take a seat in the glass-fronted Finnish sauna and finish with an open-air cold drench bucket and hot shower for a full water and heat experience.
Mizu - Pan Asian Restaurant
Elegant award-winning Mizu offers diners an authentic Pan-Asian restaurant experience against the spectacular backdrop of the Lodore Falls. The menu includes Japanese, Malaysian and Thai-inspired dishes, freshly prepared from the finest ingredients with a Lake District twist. Join us for lunch, brunch or dinner in the restaurant or on the riverside terrace.
Falls Brasserie
Falls Brasserie, located within the Lodore Falls Hotel & Spa, serves as the hotel's primary restaurant. Its vibrant décor draws inspiration from the local surroundings, showcasing panoramic views of Lake Derwentwater and Cat Bells. With touches of Scandinavia reflecting the heritage of the family owners, the ambiance exudes casual elegance.
The food gently blends traditional British cuisine with contemporary touches, featuring hearty and comforting dishes primarily using local and regional ingredients. Our Signature dishes are worth trying to experience the best of our offering. Our focus is on delivering simple yet flavourful dishes, prioritising quality and freshness.
Lounges, Conservatory and Terrace
The Lake View lounge bar, library lounges, conservatory and outdoor terrace offer the perfect location to relax and enjoy morning coffee, lunches, light bites and afternoon tea whilst taking in the spectacular views of Derwentwater and the surrounding mountains or relaxing by the open fires. Open throughout the day to everyone, your four-legged friend can join you whilst you dine in our dog-friendly library lounge area.
