Set within 270 acres of immaculately landscaped gardens, the spa at Mottram Hall re-opened in September 2020 as the first Champneys spa in the North of England following an extensive re-design and refurbishment.
Facilities include 15 treatment rooms, two Swimming Pools, Hydrotherapy Pool, Jacuzzi, Brechel Sauna, Salt Steam Room, Organic Sauna, Cold Room, Monsoon Shower, Drench Shower and Ice Fountain. Treatments are available from Champneys, Clarins and Elemis. For those feeling energetic, the health spa also boasts a state-of-the-art gym as well as a panoramic studio and cycle studio with a full range of classes to meet every guests fitness and wellbeing need.
Awarded AA Rosettes for culinary excellence, Mottram Hall prides itself on an outstanding range of dining options which includes the spa restaurant, Raffaella’s featuring contemporary décor and panoramic windows.
The spa restaurant (Raffaella’s) serves lunch to all spa guests. Guests can eat in their robes in this outlet. There is also the Spa Café Bar which serves tea, coffee etc along a range of alcoholic drinks and a selection of healthy snacks and indulgent homemade cakes.
For evening dining and breakfast most guests choose the AA Rosette rated restaurant ‘The Carrington Grill’ with its menu celebrating British heritage, featuring the finest local produce and high-quality cuts.
‘The Claret Jug’ is a more informal dining experience and is a favourite for members, golfers and locals alike.

Front facing rooms overlook the golf course and all rear facing overlook the lake and gardens.
Ground floor rear facing rooms also have a private terrace each that stretches into the garden.
Facilities are open Monday to Friday 6:30am to 10:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 7am to 8pm.

We have accessible treatment rooms, we have 2 separate accessible changing rooms. We have an internal lift to the spa restaurant and the bedrooms. There are steps into our leisure pool. All thermal room access is DDA compliant in terms of door widths and space for a wheelchair user.
