Tucked away in over 200 acres of wooded parkland and award-winning gardens, Bodysgallen Hall & Spa is reached by a long winding drive removing you from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With outstanding views across the gardens to Conwy Castle and backdrop of Snowdonia mountains, this Grade 1 17th century hall commands the hillside. Restored and renovated to exacting historical standards, the Hall dates back to 1620 and has the ambience of a well-run private house. Afternoon tea in one of its oak panelled rooms is something of a ritual and is perfect in combination with a spa day. The hall houses some 15 bedrooms and suites, and within the grounds are sixteen delightful cottages, all former buildings relating to the house – Bailiffs Cottage, The Smithy, The Dairy – providing very comfortable accommodation.

The Spa, once the estate farmhouse, was sympathetically converted and now offers a large indoor swimming pool, treatment rooms and Club Room. It is here you can escape and truly relax with beauty and well-being treatments from Aromatherapy Associates, Environ and Jessica Nails. Refresh with a light snack and beverage in the Club Room, or on warmer days on the sunny terrace with views across meadows to the ruins of Deganwy Castle. A walk through the award-winning gardens is a must and just can’t be missed. Steps lead down to a lily pond, and then on into a formal walled rose garden. Enticing gateways beckon  through to the potager garden all neatly laid out for producing fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers for the hotel. Wander up to the woodland terrace walk for an uninterrupted view to Conwy Castle, or go through into the rare 18th Century parterre where a pattern of neatly trimmed box hedges are filled with sweet smelling herbs.
