This week has seen the banks announcing a return to profit.  Lucky them.  Whilst I doubt we'll see any of it (don't us lovely taxpayers own half of Lloyds these days?), this was just the incentive the Spies needed to indulge in a little water-cooler discussion about our most favourite, extra-special, luxury treatments.

Sybaritic Spy rates the Carol Joy London Facial (£100, 55 minutes) at the Dorchester Spa, Mayfair. The Carol Joy range uses golden millet oil and diamond dust, making for a glorious facial which leaves you literally sparkling!

Sustainable Spy spends her time dreaming about the Caviar and Pearl Facial (£140) at the Thermae Bath Spa. I myself am rather partial to the Choco, Vino and Truffle therapies at the Vineyard Hotel and Spa in Newbury.

La Prairie's signature caviar cream is used at the end of all their facials and is world renowned, as well as a GSG favourite.

Caviar apparently increases your skin's ability to retain moisture and feed goodness directly to your skin cells; it is pricy, but the results speak for themselves!

Finally, it wouldn't be a decadent blog entry without mentioning all those glorious treatments involving chocolate!  Try Bliss London's Double Choc pedicure -- a hot chocolate-milk, skin-smoothing soak and sugar scrub accompanies your pedicure while you sip on a creamy cup of cocoa.

Gorgeous!
