The month of June offers unrivalled opportunities to combine your love of spa treatments with your love of people hitting things across nets, riding thoroughbreds over the finish line, or whizzing round a racetrack.

World Number One tennis player Novak Djokovic will be returning to The Boodles grass-court tennis tournament as part of his preparations for Wimbledon this year. The Boodles will be held from 18 to 22 of June 2013 at Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire (where they also have a lovely spa). In 2012, Djokovic took on Andy Murray in one of the most entertaining matches of the summer grass-court season.

Patricio Apey, tournament founder said: "We are very lucky that top players choose The Boodles to prepare their Wimbledon campaign. The players love coming because they know they get quality matches on great courts. The guests love the great food and hospitality that we put on at Stoke Park. We try to create a real English garden party atmosphere for everyone."

Stoke Park is a beautiful mansion with imposing views over the 350 acres of grounds and the greens of the golf course; a luxurious spa, elegant rooms and excellent food and service. If you're abandoned by your partner who'd like to mix up the tennis with some serious golfing, you'll be in seventh heaven.

One of our perennially favourite spas, Pennyhill Park, is just 15 minutes (6 miles) away from the racecourse at Royal Ascot. In 2013, Royal Ascot week runs from Tuesday 18 to Saturday 22 June and is home to some of the most prestigious races in the world.

Fancy a flutter? Tickets for the Royal Enclosure? Get yourself ready to sparkle with Pennyhill Park's Champagne and mandarin manicure and pedicure, which includes a champagne soak and sugar scrub as well as a glass of champagne. Cheer on your favourites then retire to the serene and beautiful ballroom pool, listen to underwater music, and try The Elemental Massage using natural and herbal products as well as hot stones.

The Formula 1 British Grand Prix 2013 will be held at the Silverstone Circuit from 28 to 30 June 2013. Whittlebury Hall Hotel and Spa is the closest hotel to the Silverstone Circuit and their spa provides a relaxing, sharing experience for friends, pre- or post the races. The self-contained day spa's main attraction is a heat and ice experience with hydrotherapy pool, hot and cold thermal rooms and experience showers. There's also a sizeable pool and classes available in the exercise studio. Perfect for a fun weekend.
