Just a quickie -- but we wanted to share the news. One of our favourite treatments, the Lava Shells Massage, is launching as a Thermal Facial treatment in July.
The Lava Shell facial will use Spa Find natural mineral therapy products, blended from "concentrated Dead Sea minerals that stimulate proteins in the skin, and blends of natural Olive Oil, Vitamin C to repair ageing skin and Coconut Oil to nourish and protect."
Mmmm!
The treatment will start with a face, neck and décolleté deep-cleanse and polish, before a relaxing massage with a self-heating Lava Shell (at a lower temperature than the usual body massage Lava Shell), then an application of a mineral mud mask followed by a scalp massage.
As the Good Spa Guide's resident sensitive-faced eco-freak, I'm particularly excited to try this one out, as Spa Find products are made from organic plant extracts, allergen-free fragrance and no parabens, Genetically Modified Organisms or animal ingredients. All the good stuff with none of the guilt!
If you can't wait till July to try out a Lava Shell treatment, there are over 350 spas in the UK that offer the Lava Shell massage, that you can hot-foot it (geddit!?) to, including Sequoia Spa at The Grove, Ragdale Hall, Marriott Hotels, and Dove spas.
