This two-day Vitality well-being retreat is an introductory course on Monday 21 October and Tuesday 22 October 2013. It's run by Katie Sheen of Soul Nutrition and Hrishikesh Desai of Lucknam Park, the luxury spa near Chippenham in Wiltshire. Over the two days, you'll gain a wider understanding of the benefits of good nutrition for your overall health, energy, and well-being.

Day One

Arrive for a 9am start on Monday to meet with Katie for an introductory seminar, and follow this up later in the day with a one-to-one session with Katie for every participant; this is your time to discuss your individual issues and solutions. Whether you want to wake in the morning with the energy to enjoy life, perform to the very best of your potential, or simply be able to make the most of every opportunity that comes your way, Katie can explain how what you eat will help you achieve your ambitions.

You'll have lunch in the Brasserie at a time that suits your individual schedule. During the rest of the day, when you're not involved in one-to-one sessions, enjoy the gorgeous spa facilities to relax and unwind. (We particularly loved the magical 20-metre pool, under a domed glass roof, with a firewall down one side, which is at the heart of the spa.)

Don't miss a chance to add in of the spa's amazing treatments. Perhaps a purifying ila massage -- the word means "earth"’ in Sanskrit, and the products use exceptionally pure and organic ingredients -- or indulge with our favourite Carita facials.

You'll have dinner as a group in the evening, together with Katie, with further discussion and time to mingle with your fellow participants. Food is a dream at Lucknam Park; it won the accolade of "Most delicious spa" in The Good Spa's Guide's 2010 Awards and has been shortlisted for the National Award for Excellence in this year's 2013 Good Spa Guide's Awards.

Day Two

On the second day of your retreat, Katie will meet you at the Cookery School and introduce you to Lucknam Park's award-winning chef, Hrishikesh Desai. His team will help you turn the knowledge that you have gained into reality, as Hrishikesh teaches you how to create dishes designed to support your vitality, not only for that day, but into the future.

You will depart with a recipe folder from this practical session that will allow you to sail away on your new regime at home.
