The Devonshire Spa offers a range of Temple Spa treatments, spa day experiences, pool and gym sessions. Exclusive spa days are now available in The Secret Spa, a collection of secluded spa sanctuaries overlooking the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.
Tucked behind the Devonshire Spa, our beautifully finished bell tents provide the perfect outdoor spa retreat for two, with picturesque views of the surrounding Dales landscape. Yours for the day, they contain everything you need to relax and indulge, from complimentary refreshments to robes and slippers, comfortable furniture and a cosy log burner.

Our 40 rooms offer the perfect base for an escape into the rural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales. Designed with luxury and comfort in mind, each room includes all of the amenities you’d expect from a superior hotel. The hotel is the unison of two complementary wings, with each bringing its own sense of grace.
The Old Wing offers traditional rooms filled with period features and cosy charm. There is nowhere more atmospheric for those who want to experience true country style. The New Wing, meanwhile, is designed to take full advantage of the commanding views. Think large windows, and interior design supervised by the Duchess of Devonshire.
