Zenspa foot cream

We reviewed ZenSpa Intensive Heel Repair Crème by Jessica (£15.95 for 113.4g)

First impressions:

Jessica Zenspa Intensive Heel Repair Crème is packaged in a simple plastic tub with subtle black and blue branding.  The cream itself is a thick white cream; fairly uninspiring until you open the lid to an unexpected and striking lemongrass scent. This surprised me as the packaging only mentions aloe vera and shea butter, neither of which come through in the smell. Luckily I like lemongrass!

What’s in it:

ZenSpa Intensive Heel Crème appears to be fairly natural. Recognisable ingredients include water, safflower seed oil, glycerine, shea butter, vitamin E, wheat germ oil, aloe leaf juice and parfum. The three that are advertised to contribute to softer heels are aloe vera, shea butter and vitamin E. The product is made in the USA and is not tested on animals.

Usage:

The small print on the label tells you to ‘generously apply to heels and any problem area and wake up to smooth and supple skin’. The cream blends beautifully into heels and toes – although a lot of it does remain on your hands as well! ZenSpa Intense Heel Repair cream felt cool and silky to apply, and super soft once dry. I found it initially slightly greasy, but that it absorbed super quickly. The lemongrass scent is incredibly strong, but beautifully refreshing for citrus lovers!

Effects:

After applying the ZenSpa Intense Heel Repair Crème, my feet were instantly softer. I have horribly rough heels that I usually use an electric pedi to buffer into shape; but ZenSpa’s cream seems to seal the skin perfectly and pretty much instantly. I really did ‘wake up to smooth and supple skin’ after using this product. The effects would wear off by the end of the day, but I noticed a small reduction of rough skin over a week’s usage – perhaps with long-term use it will be more than just an overnight treat.

Value:

I feel the product is worth paying slightly more for. The packaging may not look luxurious or expensive but I was impressed by how instantly the cream worked its magic. Even when applying a generous amount each day it will last quite a while.

Final verdict:

Would I buy it again? Yes please! I think the ZenSpa Intense Heel Repair Crème will become a regular in my bedtime routine. It’s the perfect product for anyone suffering from rough heels and certainly lives up to its ‘intense repair’ cream name.
